PLEASE READ BEFORE POSTING: Hello Forumites! In order to help keep the Forum a useful, safe and friendly place for our users, discussions around non-MoneySaving matters are not permitted per the Forum rules. While we understand that mentioning house prices may sometimes be relevant to a user's specific MoneySaving situation, we ask that you please avoid veering into broad, general debates about the market, the economy and politics, as these can unfortunately lead to abusive or hateful behaviour. Threads that are found to have derailed into wider discussions may be removed. Users who repeatedly disregard this may have their Forum account banned. Tenant is Dying

Jeffrey - even by your standards this single word "Beetlejuice" is somewhat puzzling for those of us who have are not movie buffs !!!0

I would tell him you have no problem continuing his tenancy while he is ill. You don't need to tell new tenant in the future if he does die in the property, and I don't think it would be your place to tell them anyway. I wish your tenant all the best and hope that his remaining time is as fullfilled as it can be.0

You're not required to disclose anything to future tenants. Personally, as a tenant I think I'd rather not know anyway!0

You wear it well, G_M...
TBH, I think the number of times GM re-posts their famous link to the "LL guidance" thread in a day, they must feel that old sometimes! :rotfl:0
