guarantee on Kickers Boots

I have had a pair of Kickers that I bought on 28/3/11 I contacted Kickers who told me to contace the sellers 80scasualclassics.co.uk, I did this ans they replied saying they dont usually accept returns back after that length of time (less than 5 months) question is how long should they be guaranteed for?

the soles are coming away, and they cost around £80

That is unusual,I have never had that problem,although my last pair the stitching has come undone at the back of the boot.
I am wondering if they have changed where these are made and the quality is not so good.
I always have these for work as I am on my feet for a long time and they never make my feet ache/hurt even after 10 hours.
I need a new pair so will have to monitor/keep the receipt in case of any further problems.

PS A pair usually lasts me 1 year (I only work part time)
