Larder fridge - interior fan or not?

Two very similar larder fridge models, both by same manufacturer. One has an interior circulation fan, the other doesn't.
Does an interior fan make much difference? I can't remember any of my previous fridges having an interior fan but then I've never had a single larder style fridge before either, they have always been fridge freezers, don't know if that makes any difference.
