I'm still going mad trying to find one so I can give it to my Mum for her birthday - her 76th birthday I might add! She's been longing for an ipad for ages to catch up with her OAP friends, so if anyone can help me in finding one of these for me to surprise her with, I'd be ever so grateful xxxxx

Please we are expected to believe that story!

It goes order received, order processing, order despatched.

Order processing covers the stage where the warehouse has received your order up until it is sent. I believe your order isn't charged until despatch.

Also to add that they don't send orders out on sundays or bank holidays so if you ordered today it should be sent out tuesday for delivery end of next week.

    Darnit!

I've been out all day - but rang JL earlier this morning (before they went on the website) and was told they had no stock.

Have you got a 'buy' point in mind? I haven't *yet* as still hoping on extra stock coming on to the market. I think if I can't get one of these at cheap cost I will hope the Amazon tab is real, released on time (Sep/Oct)/ decent spec and a loss leader! I don't want much!!

That's sickening isn't it? I missed the JL frenzy by half an hour this morning and was gutted all day although I had come to terms with not getting one yesterday!

I'd happily pay 120. Just waiting for the extra batch to be released. I'm sure the ebayers want to clear their stash ASAP.

Same here I think at the very top end I'd pay £130 considering that chances are once I do some will come back in stock at £89!!!

Pretty sure sods law would kick in if I took the plunge as well!

On the pre 3 thread, a member who works for CPW suggested more stock was on the way so one to keep an eye on (along with Argos, JL PCW and Dixons!!). If they all get stock perhaps the market will reach saturation point.....................

    I can dream!

Exactly that's why I'm holding fire. I want it but don't need it!
