Anyone pay full price for 32gb touchpad at Amazon and received a partial refund?
I've had it delivered today, leaving it unopened as Amazon say they are continuing to looking the price difference refund (£429.99 > £115.00)0 -

Sadly one of the unlucky ones who got as far as the payment page on the JL website. I still have the receipt page up, I keep refreshing, just in case, but so far unsuccessful. I was going to buy an iPad for my husband but thought I'd go for the HP as it is such a bargain, well it would be if I could get one :0) Glad so many of you managed to get one, well done and for the rest of us, fingers crossed.0

I must say I read with great humour how people's jealousy is making them vindictive.
It reminds me of the recent riots in London.
"Someone else has - how dare they - I want it now - I must have - why shouldn't I have - look how much they've taken"
Some people were quick off the mark and have made a small fortune on ebay. Good for them. Other people were quick off the mark got a bargain and love their new toy. Good for them. Other people have been unsuccessful - that is a pity - good luck to them in finding one somewhere. Other people bought them two weeks ago, paid a fortune and feel conned - that is a pity. Some people have spent a great deal of time hunting down ebayers - while I would like to say "good for them" I feel a little more like saying "really - get a grip on life!" Still each to their own!
And just imagine 26 people out of 39 pages of posts thought to say thank you to the OP.
I just can't believe how ridiculous people sound eg
Someone who desperately needs one since Monday for a genuine reason - like because they were cheap.
Lets not kid ourselves - none of us need one - if we needed one we would have bought one when they were expensive. We just want one because they are a bargain and they would come in handy. There is no intelligent life out there ... ask any goldfish!0 -
Actually I wanted to get her a tablet not just this one was waiting for price to fall.
My daughter is disabled and she has to go to bed often at night because she suffers from the cold yes even in Summer.
She does have a laptop but its too heavy for her she is small and quite fragile she is not young. I thought a tablet would help her enjoy her evenings surfing/FB etc
Not all of us have wads of cash either yes it was a bargain
Many of the sellers on ebay buying them for sheer profiteering nothing more so dont kid yourself that they arent
Oh and I am not jealous of those who have one so get your facts right. I am annoyed at those who do it for profit at expense of othersI must say I read with great humour how people's jealousy is making them vindictive.

Some people have a genuine NEED for items like this but simply can't afford them for instance i have a younger sister with cerybl palsy who can't use any kid of computer except a touch screen as her fingers as so badly disjointed , now i can't afford one at £400 the ones at £200 as at times not worth the money it took to built them so at this price it could be something that is needed and affordable , now of course no one will die if they don't get one but try consider others peoples NEEDS for a more normal life before telling them they don't NEED it
in my case this isn't suitable as my sister hasn't the mentality to use a computer however i will get the leappad when it gets released as to experience a gaming pleasure she would NEED a touchscreen:xmastree: :snow_grin Santa's Little Helper :snow_grin :xmastree:0 -

I agree & the fact is with sites like eBay which I generally use often people are able to deprive others of a chance to be able to own something that they might not otherwise be able to afford and then for these sellers to charge £299 (£110 profit) for doing what exactly??? its selfish and thank you for posting all those listings ending with ZERO bids I'm glad!!!0
