where have you looked? is there agencies you could join?
thought about advertising yourself? I see ads in our local paper from people looking for jobs like that.
what about magazines like Lady. dont know if they would have any jobs advertised in wales though...might be a kind of home counties type thing.

    hi

ive put ads on gumtree, netmums and various other childcare / nannying sites

ive not joined agencies yet,not looked into it too much as yet TBH

just annoying when i see trillions of jobs advertised in other areas ,but not wales :(

Rachie B mentions Netmums to advertise on, and I would second that. I discovered that site when I was pregnant and I still visit it now (dd is 2 1/2).
I find the local info invaluable and if I were looking for a nanny I would look here first (I was lucky in that my Mum could look after dd 3 days per week).
Good luck in finding a position.

Well done Rach, its a start. You might meet some other Mums through this job :)

  • I have a 2 year old and was desperately looking for a nanny last year to save money on childcare costs. Could i find one....

I subsequently put him in nursery and it costs me over £500 per month.

I have just had another baby boy and am now looking for someone to look after him if you are interested. However i dont know how much you are looking for, but i cannot afford that much, otherwise it is not worth me going back to work. My mum has offered to have him 3 days a week, however she lives in London, so she would come up on Tues night and go home Sat AM. Sounds good but can i have mum living with me for this time.

    Let me know.
