How do i secure a wireless network please?

Hi everyone,
I've just been trying to set up my son's laptop and realised my wireless network is not secure. How do i secure it please?

Sorry - should have added that i'm on the router webpage but i don't understand what i have to do.

There should be a thing in there that says: Security, or Wireless. If it is Wireless, there should be a sub section called security.
Once in the security bit: you will see some options for the 'type' of encryption. Basically, you want WPA fr your encryption, then come up with a strong password.
Doing that however, will knock you off the network, so remember the password, and then reconnect with the new password. That should do it.If at first you don't succeed; do something else.0 -

But make sure you remember what the password is or make a note of it. Not that it isnt a lost cause if you do forget the password as you can reset but its easier if the p/word is remembered.0
