Incorrect expiry date on ticket

Options
Hi all,

I've received a PCN today and am hoping that I can appeal.

The ticket I got from the machine shows that the fee paid was £2.00. According to the ticket machine this should have given me three hours of parking time. Unfortunatly the ticket printed showed the arrival time of 14:26 with the ticket expiring at 16:26 (Only two hours parking time).

In conclusion, the attendant correctly gave me a PCN according to the ticket I displayed on the dashboard, but the parking time allowed on the ticket did not tally with the fee paid.

Grounds for appeal?

Cheers

Jon

    Private = `ignore

    Council, should be a win on appeal (might take a couple of goes to convince them) ..but you will need to evidence the fact that the advertised parking time allowed for a fee of £2 is 3 hours ..i.e. a picture of the appropriate sign.
  • There was a story about a certain companies car parks doing this on fake britain the other week.. Get in touch with TS about it and they'll get on the case.
