Firstplus PPI Avoiding me!

Still awaiting my offer from Firstplus after receiving a letter from FOS stating they were going to pay out blah blah blah..
My claim should be sorted by 31st August. I have phoned them and got hung up on three times now. Got to speak to someone today who tells me the offer letter was sent out on the 15th August.
I have not received anything.
Back when i started the claim (before FOS got involved) they kept sending letters to my old address, and even though i advised them 3 times of my new address i still did not receive the letters i was expecting. Thats when i got FOS involved. The guy assured me today it was sent to my correct address but i dont think so- or it hasn`t been sent at all. Glad when this is all over and the moneys in my bank account. Has any one else experienced missing letters?

So sorry to hear your situation.

I would email the CEO and raise your concerns with them, also ask if they would be kind enough to email you a copy of the letter that you was supposed to have received way by now.

Still not received any letter.
So last night i emailed the CEO stating what has been going on namely i keep getting told letters have gone out to me but i have not received any thing. On that email i gave my correct address.
Today i have a reply confirming that a letter has been sent out to me today and yes you guessed it - to the WRONG address, my old address. So even though i have put the correct address on that email they still send it to the wrong address. Staggering.
I have just sent another strongly worded email to the CEO.
Idiots the lot of them.

I would go back to FOS and report that you have not received an offer. When it becomes apparent that it has been sent to the wrong address, ask for a "distress and inconvenience" payment.

oooh, a distress and inconvenience payment sounds good. I think its right they should pay up for messing me around and basically being such dimwits. Who would i raise that with ? The FOS or directly to barclays/firstplus?



PS I now have my offer letter as i decided to do the hour drive to my old address to see if they have kept any post for me, and luckily they did but i am not going to tell Barclays Firstplus that and hope they dont read these boards!!
