Wemt to Peterborough Hampton store today and bought:
5 of the 13p value white dinner plates (about 40 left on the shelf as they had a 60p SEL)
3 of the 28p Manhattan pasta bowls (really coulda done with the matching dinner plates but these were run out as they had the reduced SEL)
2 of the 28/27p skyline mugs- one each of the pink and blue (all the black and white ones were out of stock)
2 of the 40p medium pudding bowls
1 little hello kitty sandwich box for 10p- was marked at this price on the shelf but there were still loads left. Looks good just for storing things if not sandwiches, but it would easily fit a 2 slice of bread sandwich inside :)

There were still lots of the kitchen canisters left but didnt need any

You dont happen to know of anyone living in West Wales, as Ive picked up the dinner set and 6 plates and 4 bowls, but Im having to take them back as the plates dont fit into my dishwasher..
You could have these if you know of anyone in this area... postage would be a hell of a lot, so you wouldnt gain anything..

Got a bamboo sugar canister today to go with my tea and coffee ones. After all the running around I did there were 3 on the shelf in my local this morning. :j:j:j

Thanks to everyone who did offer to get one for me further afield and post it on, I was seriously considering taking someone up on the offer even after saying I thought the postage would be too expensive. But I am glad to have the full set now for the bargain price of £2.25, they are selling them on Tesco Direct as a full set for much much more.

There are still few bargains to be found. I got 3 New England oven gloves, the ones with the hands both ends 65p each and on 3 for 2.
No SEL of price, they are a cream colour with red/white/blue stripes. :)

Also for those asking about matching bits to the Classic cutlery sets, last time I tried the teaspoons and serving spoons were scanning £2.25 and the soup spoons 68p.

Has anyone seen the value dinner service in Poole/Bournemouth for £2.25 or possibly £2.75, SEL showed reduced prices but empty space, great buys for anyone going to uni. Hoping as the gaps are still in both Poole stores they may get restocked like the sugar canister. ;)

If you (or anyone else) is interested, I've took a picture and managed to upload it of the actual one I bought today :j

EDIT: It's actually a bright pink colour, my flash just makes it look a bit purpley!

this looks like it might be old stock as the new one has a black base and still scans at £4

Before you take your bargain back:
My son was complaining about plates not fitting in his dishwasher, when I looked at it he hadnt realised that you can move the top rack on dishwashers up to make more room on the bottom. HTH ;)

I don't think this has been posted yet so one to look out for:

PVC wipe clean tablecloth cream with a green pear design was £12 then £6 now £3 fits a 4-6 sestet rectangular table

And PVC wipe clean tablecloth red with white stars design was £12 then £6 now £3 fits a 4-6 sestet rectangular table (would be good for Xmas - but the stars are not "christmassy" iykwim!

thank you will look out for these, great for when the kids are doing painting/messy stuff :)

Another useful table protector is a shower curtain. Once my shower curtain has reached the end of its life it gets one last biological wash then it gets put away for craft time.

    Xmas Saver!
OK, semi serious question, am I a thief?

I have just been to tesco and scanned through 24 packs of batteries, a litre bottle of Bacardi and a litre of pineapple juice (well, it has to be diluted with something...) and the sub total is £98.00 exactly, as the Bacardi is on offer. The discounts that came off where £98. Total to pay £0.00.

So the SS till just shot out the receipt, and I stood patiently as the SA removed 24 security tabs from the batteries, then walked out. No one stopped me, no one asked for money, I did not scan my clubcard (well, no points to be gained!).

So I didn't pay, but the till did not ask me to pay.

    Did I steal everything?
