    Hi there

I had a loan with these back in about 2003, but the insurance was a separate premium with pinnacle if i remember correctly, so this was not paid the same time as the loan.

Hopefully for anyone who have made any reclaims with these, they will post up of their own experience, good luck.

If you have loan insurance and reasons for mis sell, then you stand as good a chance as anyone for claiming mis sell.
  • I have made a claim to IF.com for PPI that I believe was mis-sold to me. Their acknowledgement letter said I may want to contact eg pinnacle (who provided the insurance). I still have some paperwork from IF.com which clearly states that "one of their representatives will contact me regarding my insurance needs" so in my mind they (IF.com) sold me the policy. No health questions asked. Their 16 week period is up mid September so will let you know how I get on.

That would not necessarily make it a missale. Were you in poor health at the time?

I have just successfully complained against ppi misselling with if. Received my cheque on Friday.

Send the complaint to if, they are very friendly on the phone, should you wish to chase it up
