I went to a wedding where the bride and groom did a joint speech only (no FOB or best man speech as second time around and they wanted low key). They exchanged presents during the speech, she gave him a special monopoly set with the main squares places that were special to them both (I think her house was mayfair), he gave her a voucher for a balloon ride.

Its a nice idea but if you want to do something truly soppy I think private is best. Why not a beautiful heart pendant or bracelet sent to her on the morning of the wedding?? Have seen this on dont tell the bride and made me well up.

I bought hubby a remote controlled tractor and BM gave it to him on the morning of the wedding. I got nothing in return!
