Dear all,
I am trying to build a site and was told that buying a template and modifying it for your own use will be much better. Any recommendation tips will be most helpfull, I just don't want to continually paying for it.
I once used dreamweaver to build a site but did not look very professional.

Go to wordpress, download and install that on the server, and then start scouring through the themes to find the one you want.
Wordpress allows you to edit the themes directly from the admin control panel, so you can tweek the theme to your hearts content. If at first you don't succeed; do something else.0 -
Wordpress is the easiest thing for you to use if you haven't got the money to pay for a web designer (although it's probably not as expensive as your think!)Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0

You don't need to use Dreamweaver with Wordpress. You can use the inbuilt editor for any changes.
Don't forget that Wordpress is built using PHP so you wouldn't see any graphics anyway.Estate Agent, Web Designer & All Round Geek!0 -
