She also needs to clarify what she is supposed to tell the other staff and what the process is going to be for them.
Telling them the branch closes is not enough.
This could get messy if she is in charge and they are expecting her to terminate them.0 -

Shes now had an email saying they will pay her for any hours owed and accrued so fingers crossed theyll honour this otherwise its court.0
