Quick check: how 'unique' or trackable is your browser?

Quite revealing.
Apparently my browser is quite unique, which means that theoretically tracking companies probably have a good idea of the kinds of things I look at on the net.
The two main areas that set me apart: user agent (web browser), and apparently I'm one of the few in the world whose only browser plugin is Adobe Flash (1 in 38000 browsers).
I blame Santer for getting me onto Palemoon

Even with 1 in 38000 then there are at least another 55,000 people online with the same.... not really that "unique"0

Yes, but those figures taken with all the others others mean that it's possible to make highly accurate guesses. It's just maths, and there are companies with financial incentives to develop algorithms that work.
Can read further about it here:

My browser is completely unique. Good job I use Ghostery for Chrome to stop people tracking me in the first place!

Mine too...

I think I'm more worried about getting caught in the rain than just how easy my browsing is to track though.0 -

Unique isn't a good thing...oh, and Chrome is spyware. As soon as it starts it creates an encrypted connection to Google's servers and sends back information about every page you visit.0 -

Mine also. There is a lot of uniqueness out there.0 -
Isn't the point of this, that the more unique you are, the easier you are to track?
I get the impression people think unique is a good thing here. I'd worry about the rain more too, but I carry an umbrella :)0
