No delivery, no refund since feb 2011

I ordered a bed from an online retailer feb 2011 (paid with paypal funded from my bank account). They didn't deliver when they said they would, then they delivered a very badly damaged bed which the courier advised me not to accept.
They then strung me along for months with excuses about problems with their offices, the manufacturers and their delivery company. At the end of April I requested a refund, got a variety of excuses why they couldnt.. I contacted paypal and because it was out of the 45 day limit I couldnt claim a refund that way.
I began calling them on a weekly basis, they said they were locked out of their building due to a dispute with their sister company's landlords.. I suspected they might be going into administration, turned out their sister company was but not them.. I'm still getting excuses about members of staff being on hoilday and unable to process refunds, their paypal account is suspended due to all the money recalls done when people werent getting their goods.
They're saying until they get some trade orders in they can't afford to refund me. Is there anything I can do? I don't trust anything they tell me although I'm sure they're on the brink of going into administration.
