SimplySwitch hanging on to cashback!

I only recently used SimplySwitch to change to NPower for my electricity (no mains gas here), naively assuming the price they quoted would stay the same throughout the yearly contract (so I am now a lot wiser!). SimplySwitch claim on their website that "your cash back is paid into your bank in approximately 90 days". I have just chased mine as it's 112 days (16 weeks) since I switched supplier and they have responded that it will be mid-SEPTEMBER (i.e. 133 days/19 weeks) before I see my money! Thought I should let folks know in case that might want to use a different price comparison site! :mad:

    Mike - the date of mid September came from Jamie Tomlinson of SimplySwitch on Monday, 22 August in response to my email chasing up my cashback.



    Well, would you believe it? I have just checked with my bank and my cashbank was paid into my account this morning (26 August), so 115 days instead of the 90 days quoted by SimplySwitch ... absolutely nothing to do with pressure from MoneySavingExpert, of course!!!
