was her JSA conts or income based?0

You wouldn't have got WTC on that amount of income anyway. Also you can only claim JSA for six months.0

hi folks, yeh pink, she moved on to contribution based, i guess the six months are up and we'll just have to do without the jsa allowance, thanks for the reply's folks, im just a bit stunned that she'll have to do without her own money as to speak0

Surely you'll support her as you are a couple.0

Surely you'll support her as you are a couple.
If some of the posts on here are representative of couples today, then no it does not seem to be the way.
He has his and she has hers. Whatever happened to joint bank accounts, joint responsibility and the 'for richer, for poorer' aspects of being in a relationship.
I've never had any money of my own since I got married 32 years ago, yet I was the one that worked and earned it. My wife has never worked yet she controls what goes out, has the credit card that I pay off every month!0 -
cheers folks, i guess we were just so used to having our own money kind of thing, yeh its not like we dont support each other, im the earner and pay the bills, my other halfs money paid for grocery's, just have to make cutbacks and hope a 2nd job comes up.0
