Hi All

I have recently switched to EDf and it all went swimingly sort of. Anyway all logged on online and first DD is due soon. However I just got a bill from BG.

I think this is from July--> Agust meter reading so I'm not entirely worried about that but. WHAt I am worried about is that BG has send me nothing to say sorry you are leaving. I can also still log onto my BG and it says next meter reading is due 17th.

However i Started with EDF on the 3rd August. Does this all seem normal not hearing anything from BG. or do i need to get on the phone and waste hours of my life listening to music??

The first thing to check is whether the Meter Point Reference Numbers (MPRs or MPRNs) on the two accounts match. If they don't then the supply that EDF have taken over is not the one that BG have in your name. In that case, one of the two has got you set up paying for someone else's meter and it all becomes a bit awkward. If the MPRs do match then I'd give BG a call and ask why your account doesn't seem to have closed down.
