Simplyswitch
I used simplyswitch to switch from Eon to British gas websaver v.11. in april, That was april 14th to be exact.
I have heard nothing from British Gas and 1 reply from simplyswich on 8th august after i emailed them.They said switch was sucessful and they would contact British gas to clarify situation.
I am still waiting and in the meantime i am on a standard tariff with eon which is not ideal.
Has anyone else had this problem?. 4months is a long time.

Have you tried to contact BG and find out if they hold an account at your address?
Are you still receiving bills from eon and making payments?0 -

I must say that is most odd.
When you apply to switch via SimplySwitch, you get a notice on the screen at the end of the transaction saying an email has been sent to you.
(In fact they don't send it until they process your application so that may be the next working day or so)
You should also get contacted by the outgoing supplier (a 'sorry you are leaving' message), and a by the new supplier welcoming you. In fact the new supplier would have contacted you more than once, as they would confirm the switching date and would require your meter reading on that date.
I don't know how, if you have switched supplier, you could have not had any of this contact from the various companies. It sounds like you are still with eon to me, and your application was not correctly made."Now to trolling as a concept. ....
