Do you mean the beading that holds the glass in or the one that may surround the frame. Either way, most timber merchants and even B&Qs etc should stock a range of hardwood and softwood mouldings. If you need a particular size, any joinery shop should have the tooling on their spindle moulders to run off what you need.
  • :Tthanks CV for that info. I did mean the beading that holds the glass in place. Should I use hardwood or softwood?

better use hardwood as the bottom bead in particular often has water sitting on it. Dont forget that when you replace them, seal around between the glass and frame first with a clear silicon, then when you have put the new beads in, seal between the glass and beading, otherwise water will get behind them.

It's called glazing bead. Most places that sell wood will have a selection of sections, take a piece along with you to match. If you can get it in hardwood, so much the better.
I can afford anything that I want.
Just so long as I don't want much.
