Banding on printed stuff

Hi I have an epson 3 in printer and everything I'm printing has got stripey banding on it. I have cleaned the heads, head alignment, took the ink out and put it back in. Not sure what else to do can anyone help? Thanks

Change the paper type to premium glossy

Change the setting to best photo, tick colour controls, on advanced, remove the tick for high speed

If no different, try their live chat, do not mention compatibles if used

What make are the cartridges used?

I had this problem with my printer once.

It boiled down to a rouge cat hair in the mechanism

Thanks for this don't know what's happening the epson printer icon has disappearded and can't find the disc to reinstall

Uninstall the printer , after getting new drivers - http://software.canon-europe.com/
Reinstall , see how it goes. You aren't using an inksaver program are you ? These can cause problems.

EDIT - doh! , canon on the brain - my printer is canon ..... Santer ,below , is more on track !!!

Have a look in programmes and features or add and remove depending on the version of Windows and uninstall anything for Epson first

The printer needs to be off until the installer ask for it to be switched on
