Not yet - EDF seem to have adopted a policy of being the last man to move and it attracts a lot of new customers, but be aware
In the Autumn of 2010 they stood against the rises announced by all the others and promised price fixes till March 2011, and were as good as thier word, but, when the March increases came they were huge and Online tariff customers found themselves on "Standard" tariff prices, less the 2% minimum discount in the contract.
Fortunately, since that time the hold EDF thought they had on customers with the 2% discount contracts, has been blown out of the water, and when the rises come customers are free to switch without penalty0 -
I called EDF today to ask them not to put my DD up as much as they wanted to. They agreed but said that they hadn't yet raised their prices for the winter. Hmmm.. sounds bad considering the price for online saver 7 has only recently gone up, another rise would be very unwelcome! If they do put it up again I shall be looking elsewhere.
PS.. the woman I spoke to sounded as if she was sparring for a fight. I hardly spoke and she snapped at me. Fed up with her job I'd guess.0 -
I have been onto EDF energy's call center agent, they said that they dont have any idea of the price increase??Thanks

They aren't going to tell you as such information is embargoed under Stock Exchange Rules and commercial confidentiality. The call centre people would be well down the food chain.0 -

OS7 also was not increased in march like all ther other tarrifs - it went up 2 1/2 months later - so anyone on OS7 was on teh cheapest tarrif for 8 1/2 monts - then a free move to fixed s@ver v2 and its chpeaer than the new OS7 prices.0 -
EDF's Fixed Saver 2 tariff will make a reappearance tomorrow0
