Hello all!
Feeling surprisingly cheery for a Monday, the weather helps mind you! My boss is off for a fortnight so I've got a nice, manageable works to do list, that shouldn't get any bigger for a fortnight - yippee!

QUOTE]
it really is that obvious! When they are beyond the point of no return I sling them in the freezer - skins an all. then get them out to defrost & put in a cake or a smoothie. If you have a smoothie maker, you can peel, chop into smaller pieces and then get them out as you need them. You can freeze just about any fruit or veg! :TDF as at 30/12/16

Afternoon all;
My small thing today is to shop at sainsbury's and spend as close to £20 as I can. Got a voucher through the post from them for 6p off litre of fuel when I spend £20 in store, so am going to try and stick to that amount!

Mainly just saying the usual stuff for me...
Booked accommodation for friend's wedding in Scotland over new year - £72 for 3 nights :T she block booked so much so we get it cheap. Yippee.
Also sorting out insurance - must check Quidco etc...
Call mum from mobile - included mins - not landline
Sorted out staying with friend on Sat night rather than pay for taxi - £12 saved

Thank for that DNMS,
I often make banana muffins but sometimes only have one banana so it gets thrown out, didn't think they would freeze.
Small confesion to make. Didn't get brambling or to mr T due to work really messing up my rotas and spending over an hour in the office but still no further forward.:mad:
I did however 'pop' into our local Netto (5 mins walk) for bleach and bread. Asda have bought out Netto and this one is shutting in a couple of weeks. When we got in we realised that they are selling loads of stuff off cheap to clear the place out. I sent OH back for the car and grabbed a trolly and stocked up. Spent £70 but have enough dog food, kitchen rolls, bleack, rice and tins to last for months. So I do feel quite good that even if my hours get even crapper (which they are headed), my dogs are fed and we can survive till the New Year from store cupboards.0 -
Very MSE..well done! Hadn't realised they had taken them over. Was looking at shopping there..may now have to be Lidl or Aldi instead. Was checking out that thread that has advice on what to buy..and what not to!
