Value 12 roll of toilet roll?

This is Tescos value toilet roll now:

Its £1.99 now but i'm sure it was £2.49 the other week, which was a huge jump from the value-value one I used to buy a few months ago!

Netto are doing 2 x 12 rolls for £5.oo from today, don't know what the quality is like though.

I've been getting mine from Bodycare. 9 rolls for 99p.

I tried to report this to CS but was told it was "only" 2p and they weren't interested. I tried to explain how 2p millions of times over across the country added up to a tidy profit for Tescos but they didn't care

It doesn't matter if it was even 1p or under priced its still illegal, trading standards would be quite interested in that I think and id call head office, if you get over charged make u the difference back

This product has recently jumped from £1.99 to £2.40 in my local and since it seems the best buy is constantly out of stock!

This thread is so spooky as i was just on tesco website trying to find the value toilet rolls and they seem to only sell the pack of four now which is over priced compared with the old 12 packs.

Off to lidls it is for me then

Actually bought these today and the SEL said £2.40 but scanned at £1.99

Been getting the ASDA 6 jumbo packs- they really are the same as 12 normal rolls, last several days here!

Can't believe the price of Tesco Value 4 pack now, I know things have gone up but that is plain stupid.
