    Morning All,

Have managed to put one load out on the line, another in the wm and will be put out shortly, nice and sunny atm.

Tea tonight will be SC Sweet and Sour Chicken with Rice, yum yum.

Bought an allotment and went to visit it yesterday and found out it is completely over run with weeds, must have been like that for at least a few months, so going to take a lot of work and dissapointed it is in that state.

Hugs to all who needs them.

    Good morning all :)

I'm going into hospital today to have the op that was cancelled the other week, so fingers x'd it'll go to plan this time. Not counting my chickens until I wake up in Recovery though, as I heard y'day that a friend at church recently had her op at the same hospital cancelled as there was no anaesthetist

Been doing some cleaning to pass the time until we have to leave home :o, and have a load of towels in the WM. It takes my mind off how thirsty I am! I could murder a cup of tea!

Welcome to our new posters :) This is a very nice place.

Big (((HUGS))) to everyone who's ill, unhappy or worried at the moment.

Be back when I'm able to sit upright on a chair again

    Best wishes

    I is back :rotfl:

Had a busy week doggy sitting, he is lovely but really boisterous and he jumps up a lot and catches my legs which is really painful.

It was DD's birthday yesterday so we went out for dinner on Saturday at the Windmill in Caldecot M.K then we all went up to Whipsnade Zoo yesterday and had a fantastic time and didn't get home until 6.15pm .... ate into the savings though I reckon we have spent nearly £200 this weekend  but it was worth it and it was a lovely break.

DH is back at work today and has taken DS with him so I can get a few bits done without anyone bothering me :D

One load of washing on the line and another in the machine and it is lovely this morning smiley-chores003.gifsmiley-chores011.gifsmiley-chores047.gifsmiley-chores010.gifsmiley-chores012.gifsmiley-chores007.gif

momof2girls I thought the weather was going to be bad tomorrow.

ivyleaf I hope that everything goes well with the op today smiley-hug002.gif

    Good morning people,

Gorgeous morning here in Dublin, late start here because I am on holiday and OH has taken the day off today so we are off to the Zoo with our Aussie niece and DGS, should be a good day, really looking forward to it because I have always loved going, used to have an annual ticket but since the kids grew up I thought it was no longer necessary.

One load on the line already, one in WM as I type, will hang it out when we get back, really need to vacuum around, lots of tumbleweed from the dogs, some of the corners downstairs look like they are growing fur, dogs seem to be moulting at a ferious rate at the moment, despite giving them both olive oil in their food, maybe I can persuade OH to do it later.

Beef casserole made for dinner, just to make some dumplings and veg when I get back later. Friend of niece arriving today and going to crash in same room as her, only for week but as it is the smallest room in the house it going to be a tight squeeze, never mind the extra mouth etc to feed.

Someone looking for chicken crumble recipe, found this on an earlier thread, sorry no idea now who posted.

Have a good day everyone, hugs etc where needed.

    Hi everyone,

I seem to be over the cold I've had over the last few days. I really need to knuckle down and try to save money. We're very lucky compared tomany peoplein that we have a a healthy income, but of course it isn't going up the way prices are and we have had some heavy expenditure over the last year. I want to investigate things like Quidco which I haven't really paid much attention to. I'm also thinking much more about whether i actually need the things I buy. I've started clicking on things to buy and then talking myself out of buying them.

We had an impromptu barbecue with DS and GF last night as it was so warm so I've got last night's meal for this evening. I shall try not to buy any more food this week apart from milk.

Ivyleaf I hope the op goes well (and goes ahead).
