I Have a panasonic TZ10 camera and in the manual it says it accepts SD, SDHC and SDXC cards. What is the difference between these?
I am going to be taking probably near 1000 pics on safari and want to take 2 cards just in case. Any recommendations on what type card, what size, and any makes that are a good price!
Thanks for help with all my questions!

Check the capacity the camera will recognise
In general, faster write speeds are better, as is using an established brand. SDHC cards can have faster write speeds
If you get a good card it will last for years so skimping on the price now may not be worth it
" SDHC cards are excellent for digital cameras that take high quality photos because they tend take up more storage and can write the large file quicker. "

SD, SDHC and SDXC are all types of SD cards, so there's no physical difference to your camera - the internal memory format has been improved since it was first released (SD) so HC and XC versions can contain more data.
There's no real need to worry about which one you get, as long as you get one the right size. Two 8GB cards would be plenty for a normal camera, and they would probably be SDHC. Sandisk are probably the best make to go for - Amazon have 8GB Sandisk cards for about £8.
Quick two rules - avoid photography shops as they will charge you up to twice as much. Also avoid looking at the speeds unless you have a high end camera, because a 'Class 6' card compared to a 'Class 10' card will make very little difference except in the price!0
