Actually I only had to look at her last 4 posts to find out where she works!

ok, so what's her full name; employee ID and branch.
  • yeah, that'll be because a company has an employee called *Kat* on their books.

I know where she works from her posts.

seriously? you say 'repeated !!!!!!'s' is gross misconduct; yet i'm being silly for saying that just because you can find out which company she works for, you have no idea who she is or what store she works at.

I would say that if someone in her store read her posts, there is enough info to create some resonance. This in turn could lead to a very unpleasant interrogation. Possibly for individuals in several stores.

She's had this pointed out to her on many of her threads slagging off her employer. I know the name of the store she works for and the city it is based in, just by having read some of her previous posts. I didn't even have to go back and check her posting history as shes slagged them off so many times publicly. Apparently there are 16 branches of this store in that city, according to OP. I wonder how many have employees sporting a brand new tattoo, who lodged a formal complaint against their manager a year ago for grabbing their wrist.

If I worked in HR for that company, it would take me less than 10 minutes to identify who this poster is. And her employee number and store id number too ;)

Please you guys. Gross misconduct? Is it ok for employer to treat their employees as slaves then? Seems that you forgot about employees rights too? I understand having a contract that is saying about our duties at work, but bear in mind that there are also points stating employers duties in respect of employees? Unfortunately I've got an impression that in the UK we are slowly returning to 18th century slavery, especially bearing in mind large supermarket chains?
Of course Kat is right to call her management !!!!!!!s, because that's what they usually are.

Just an update, I wrote a formal complaint about him 3 weeks ago, another manager at the store also put in a formal complaint about the same incident. She said he was threatening and verbally abusive to me and 2 other colleagues, but he was also rude to her. External investigators are coming to the store to speak to me today (they already spoke to the manager on thursday). I will keep this thread update because I think it might help other people with someone similar...
