Also, the agreement from M$S has arrived so I've signed it and it just needs posting when OH goes out later. I can't wait to get started on moving the cap1 debt. It might take a bit longer than I thought cos I've laready done a petrol and food shop this month but at least it will get moved.
I'm also worried I'm going to lose 2 of my clients. One is very unwell and I'm coming to the end of my work with the other one. May need to do some advertising and hopefully get new clients closer to home to reduce travel costs. If you know you have enough, you're rich.0 -
Good news with the M+S card. I think emotional ups & downs are part of our journey & as hard as it may be at times I guess it's best to try to keep our resolve & be positive as much as we all can.
Who ever said life was easy. This debt-busting is a real challenge but there are many examples on here that show it can be done.

It only took me about a year but my debt only amounted to about £5k. I don't know about having cracked it, but what I do is working for me at the moment. I actually enjoy being in control of my finances and trying to make my money work as best it can for me. How sad does that make me sound?!! (Please don't answer that!!:o)
Have you read any of Hypno's diaries? She is definitely living proof that is it possible to pay off your debts. They are very inspiring and she is a legend on these boards.
Everything always seems much worse when you don't feel well, so fingers crossed you'll be back raring to go instead of all stressed when you shake this bug.
Sorry to hear about your clients. What type of work is it you do?...and you have me intrigued, what are the 'lovely wooden things' your OH is making?

I've PM-ed you Ayeshalush.
Sorry to be so mysterious everyone.I just like the anonymity of this place and don't want details that might identify me on my diary.
Do I sound paranoid?!?!Like anyone would even care?!?!
Anyway, £5k is a serious amount to have paid off. And I'm jealous of your spreadsheet skills. Got any tips for a wannabe spreadsheet user?
Finally got the tax situation sorted. Got stung for another £55 for being a couple of days late with my return. That'll teach me. Fortunately the guy on the phone was very lovely and apologised for the delay in telling me about it.If you know you have enough, you're rich.0 -

Only if they fit, and are really quite fantabulous....and you can still keep a roof over your cottage, food in the cat bowls, and wolves from the door.0
