Picasso/C-Max good choice for utility vehicle?

Options
Hi,
Need a utility vehicle with comfort, good load carrying capacity & economy. Thinking of the Citroen Picasso or Ford C-Max with the 1.6 HDI diesel engine (but would consider other makes).
Any owner opinions, problems, where to get a good deal would be very helpful.
Regards, Mrsparky

better vehicle, much better engines and probably cheaper, the 1.9 jtd will pull a house down plus you can get it remapped to 170bhp!

The 1.6 for a C-Max is no good; the 2.0 is magnificent !

Test drive a Picasso first, OH had no problem with it, but I couldn't see over the weird shaped dashboard. I found the C-Max heavy to drive as well, we went with a VW Touran in the end.
When I had my loft converted back into a loft, the neighbours came around and scoffed, and called me retro.
