Hi guys. Sold house and purchased another however there's a gap!!'
I will have £220k for about 3 weeks then I will be putting out £130k of it towards house deposit so will have £90k remaing which I envisage will not be used for 8 months min
wot is a straight forward easy access account to open as a joint a/c as I'm due the money a week on Wednesday and as house is joint name. The bacs from lawyer has to go to joint a/c.
I will need to pay lawyer his funds before 30th sept are there any decent ones with branch access

it would make sense to simply open a joint bank a/c so the cheque can be paid in.
if you or your OH like their current bank why not just open a joint a/c with them
then move the money into the best instant access saving a/c .... personally I would make sure I used both ISAs fully and then look for other accounts paying 3% for the rest
look in the saving section of this site or money sections of the newspapers0
