Dear all,
We are now close to buying our first home...I am looking for a good solicitor.. If you know a solicitor who is proactive, trustworthy and good (our timelines are really tight), could you please share his/her contact details with me? I work full time, I have a toddler and a husband who will not do ANYTHING except sign wherever required. So having problems with a solicitor is the last thing I;d want...

Also, if you think I should NOT hire a particular solicitor, please please let me know...

    I think it would help if you give the town/area you are looking to buy in as local knowledge can be relevant in your determination of a solicitor (eg if the area suffers from particular environmental problems).
