Page File Usage History

On the parents computer its slowed right up just recently, we've run the anit-virus, malware etc and found nothing sus. also its running with 1GB Ram.
Anyway I ran the contrl/alt/delete and noticed that this Page File Usage History is running at 1.85GB and needle is at the top of the scale, maybe this is what is slowing the machine down.....any ideas of what to try?

there's a sticky thread above about speed, commit charge is more relevant than page file size!!
