Advice please - botched job by tiler

I wonder if anybody can help me. I had my kitchen tiled just over a week ago and am not happy with the job. I didn't immediately realise that the tiler did not put the cornice back properly on the cupboards. The edges don't meet and one of my cupboards won't shut because a screw has burst through it. When I moved the fridge I realised that there is a small area that hasn't been grouted!
I have called the tiler numerous times asking him to come and fix this and he has fobbed me off again and again. He was also quite rude when I initially told him (very politely) what the problem was. He is now not answering the phone unless I call from a different number.
I have a copy of the quote he gave me but I didn't get a receipt. Is there anything that I can do? I'm really annoyed and reluctant to pay for somebody else to fix this.

If he is n't playing ball and you have his address, send him a 'letter before action' (recorded) giving him 14 days to rectify the work, or you will get somebody else in and then pursue costs against him in the small claims court.Eat vegetables and fear no creditors, rather than eat duck and hide.0
