personal account protection

I have an account with Fashion World home shopping cataloque and I have what they call personal account protection on this account.
I can't find the original policy for this but I can remember ringing them and saying I did not want this insurance as I dont work and am on disability but was talked into keeping it on in case I died.

Can I claim these charges back the same as PPI?

How was it mis-sold to you?

You said you didnt want it. They discussed it with you and then you agreed to have it. That is not a mis-sale.

Any financial product can theoretically. However, the same rules apply to all of them. You have to state why you think it was mis-sold and be prepared to supply your evidence to support your accusation. You cannot claim back the premiums just because you have the product.

My wife deals with ambrose Wilson and pays £18.32 per month for this pap insurance which she has done for many years. Now she still owns £979.81. Paying this seems unfair as the account does not decrease. Thankyou
