Fixtures & Fittings

I have a load of fixtures and fittings i need to sell as i have closed my business, any ideas where i could sell them at a decent price?
I have Gondolas, Tables, Dump Bins, Counters, Clothes Rails, Display Racks etc.
I have 150+ items that i need to sell, do you think its easier selling as a job lot or individually. I am hoping to recoup approx £5K for the lot.
Any advice would be most appreciated - thanks

To be brutally honest they a probably worth about £500 max.
The whole country is awash with gear like this.
You would probably be best putting it on ebay...........0 -
See if you have a local business auction house and speak to them.
We have one close to us which regularly have fixtures and fittings as well as liquidated stock.
They may be able to tell you if your expectations are realistic.0 -
If your items are strictly business related then ask yourself "How many new businesses or existing businesses "upgrading/modernising" would want any of this and how much would they be prepared to pay for secondhand stuff?"
I think you'll find the answers are: very, very few and very, very little.
Agree with Ebay and auction house. Other possibilities, Friday Ad, Gumtree, classified ad in local paper, Exchange and Mart.If you are querying your Council Tax band would you please state whether you are in England, Scotland or Wales0 -
The problem selling them individually will be shipping them will be costly and no one will be bothered to collect for one item. If you have the means to deliver then selling a few job lots on Ebay with shipping within 100 miles (or whatever) included could give you an edge, there are very few lots offered that aren't collection only.0
