Spending gift vouchers as a business

(Quick note to moderators, I have placed this in business forum deliberately, not vouchers forum as this query specifically relates to a business issue)

Does anyone know the implications, if any, of spending gift vouchers as a business? Googling only returns queries about sending/giving gift vouchers, not receiving them and using them to purchase business assets.

My wife and I run a partnership and recently received Amazon vouchers from our wedding. We have a number of business purchases that would make sense to buy from Amazon. Is there a way this would work?

Unless we buy said assets personally then get the business to buy them from us... but this never makes sense to me as we are the business.

Buy the items from Amazon personally. They could be classed then as items that you have bought to the business and you could then claim depreciation on them. This makes sense to me.

Could you treat them as a directors loan? Or frankly just sell them to the business?

I would buy the items with the vouchers, and take the cash out! Seriously dont get bogged down its not difficult, buy the item, you will get a receipt, put the receipt through, take out the cash from takings.
Have recently done that for some printer ink, had personal amazon vouchers sitting, so used them for the ink and took out the cash it makes no difference.
And tbh... vouchers, why is it people do vouchers! I mean, let me get you a present you can only spend in one place, because it makes me look like I thought about it, rather than sending you a cheque, or cash, that you can spend anywhere!!!
