leaving keys with builder

hi all, should i get my keys back once a builder has done a job albeit not to my satisfaction and is awaiting payment which i may hold onto until he puts the problem right?

Yes. If you feel uneasy about anything, get the keys back. But don't call the builder first saying you want the key back - ask him topop round to discuss the work and then take your keys back. Your builder has NO right to your house keys or anything in your property.Everyone is entitled to my opinion!0
