Hey everyone
Having some problems at home with neighbour who I believe has keyed my car. I have just recently passed my driving test and have bought myself a car. I live in a rented converted house that is turned into flats. The other day the neighbour on the top floor had his music blasting out till the early hours. He doesnt work, has no job prospects and has no respect for any of the other people living here. Anyway the neighbours complained to the landlord and he has now keyed my car during the daytime as payback. He must think I have complained or something and as no one else drives feels this is the way to deal with it. I am absolutly gutted only had the car 4 weeks.
This morning I have a tiny dint in the car on the left wing just where the wheel arch meets the door join its about the size of a finger tip, this certainly wasnt there yesterday. I believe this to be from one of the other neighbours letting his kids run wild and chase each other about with toys in their hands. The kid has obviously bashed into the side of the car squeezing past down the gate. Would the option below be suitable seems a fair price and comes with the software etc.
This will enable me to see exactly what is occuring when I am in bed during the daytime (I work nights). I am fuming that he lets his kids run wild around the car.
Can anyone reccomend a camera with Motion Detection and if possible night vision - as our street isnt very well lit.
Ideally wireless would be a good option as it will save me running a long usb extension cable from the bedroom to the lounge which is where the computer is located.
Also is there any cctv type software that would work with the camera and activate recording when the camera detects movement? I have searched google for a while and read through some older posts on here. On google the software that was coming up is paid for software but I read on the forums that you can obtain free software for what I am trying to do. Perhaps the webcam itself may come with some software that will do what I need it to?
Seen this which comes with software and looks quite good...

Any help greatly appreciated.
Kind Regards
Richard.

Sorry to hear about the problems you are having and, fully understand your anger.
Only help I can offer is by pointing you in the direction of "Maplin" type the latter in search engine for nearest store, they also do online, they stock a vast array of cameras.
Hope you get it all sorted out.0 -
I have a Y-Cam CCTV camera - it's wireless and can email pictures and video when it detects movement. Google "Y-Cam"...Everyone is entitled to my opinion!0
