I have spent all week browsing currys comet etc foe an all in one, the one Im drawn to is the epson 6000, there is also a Brother all in one in Comet but the assistant dosent seem to know much about it, has anyone any infor on either of these? Are the cartridges cheap once you have bought them? The printer is not going to be in constant use so the assistant informed me the printer heads tend to get blocked up and wont work after a while, he recommended a HP one. Im even more confused now than I was before. Can anyone help????

Hi I have just bought a HP PSC 1410 from Argos for £49.. something, can't remember what the pence was, this was on recommondation by my Son who knows a thing or two about PC, and printers. The long and the short of it all is that i am very happy with it, it prints photo's great and is a doddle for scanning etc. The ink cartridges are reasonable. I have just bought some more ready for when it runs out.Sainsbury sells them at around 12.99 as do Curry's Argos are more expensive. £17..... odd for color and about £14.... for Black and White. I have just made 2 Calenders for this year on photo paper and they came out really good. Although i have just bought a Cd rom greeting card maker from Currys and i just can't seem to print out with that application or what ever it's called. I would recommend the HP PSC 1410 as its cheap as chips. hope that's of some help to you.20p savers club

Have a look at this thread... I think it has gone back up now but is on sale at Staples for about £50 and there are some money off vouchers kicking about on Ebay.
