we were out of contract for BB and Call package on 15/08/12

On 19/08/12 our BB was changed over to new provider and calls due to change over on 23/08/12

I was checking my BT account tonight to see what call I owed and account is showing BB and unlimited weekend package to be activated on 22/08/12:eek:

Please somone tell me they cannot reactivate package without permission ? I did call this a.m. to ask them to remove caller display and 1571. That was it , guy said no problem he would take the services off .

I am really hoping this is a system mistake as I do not want to change back to them , and even if I did I am in contract now for 12 months for new provider.

Why did you call BT to remove caller displayer if you moved calls to a new provider.

Surely you would call the new provider to change, as bt wouldn't be able to do this, since your not there customer.

Captain. We've drifted into a gap in the space/time continuum and a time-warp has resulted.

All clocks must now be put forward exactly a year.
Time has moved on (much quicker than it used to - or so it seems at my age) and my previous advice on residential telephony has been or is now gradually being overtaken by changes in the retail market. Hence, I have now deleted links to my previous 'pearls of wisdom'. I sincerely hope they helped save some of you money.
