Hi all,
I am new to the site and have a bit of a problem. Not sure where I should post this so please point me in the right direction if I have got this wrong!
I am hoping to buy a new house so looking at money etc. I have been a bit rubbish lately and finished a 0% deal on my credit card. I am looking to transfer to another 0% but not been successful in the 2 applications I have done and I believe this is due to the associations with my husband! He has a bed credit history and although is working hard to pay things off, this will be a long way off. I checked my own report of Experian and its 999, which seems to be very good! I cant see any other reason, it would decline me.
So we can close our joint account but I am not really disassociated from him as we are married so could I still send this to the credit agencies? I really dont want this to affect my mortgage application. May have to wait to put the house on the market, which we have an appt to do on Tuesday.
Ahh - my head is spinning.:money:
Any thoughts or guidance much appreciated!
