Hello. I need a good printer with cheap replacement cartridges. Preferably laser, but inkjet is also fine (colour preferred in both cases). My budget is £50 for the printer. PC World have a few Epson's 'All In One' (scanner/copier/laser) with b&W cartridges costing £6.99. However, a few people have complained about Epson's not being reliable enough

Colour laser printers are fairly cheap now, BUT the toner can be VERY expensive - I've just bought three new colour toner cartridges for my Lexmark for about £200!
When I had an inkjet printer, I used to buy generic cartridges from ink2u which were very good - any questions just ring them and ask what the quality is like. I asked about new generic cartridges from them at one stage, and they advised me not to buy generic for a while until they had a better system, which was good of them. Occasionally they do some good offers - at one stage they did a "buy 4 colour and 4 black cartridges and we'll give you the printer for free" deal!

Boots have just half priced their printers, I sold a HP printer copier scanner yesterday for £23.50!
We also sell Epson, Cannon and Lexmark, most are old stock but all under £30.00!!Growing old is manditory, Growing up is optional! :j0 -
I have an epson R200 which I fine for my needs (photo's not as good as I hoped) have just purchased three whole compatable ink sets for £18.00 (links on consumables board) which is great. I was once told that Epson and Canon have the cheaper inks?
Good luck0
