How many and which files were detected as patched?
Kas can detect Ramnit variants as either win32.patched or Win32.Nimnul....
The fact that files show sign of corruption "not a valid win32 application", also suggests a file infector. Assuming it is, even if the files could be disinfected of the viral code by an AV, you could be left with a lot of corrupted files which require replacement. It might be best to backup, wipe & reinstall....0 -
