Not had to return anything with them before, a polite smile and insistence should pay off I hope. I don't doubt I'd get a full refund (how else would the mamanger assure himself to get on cheaply unless I return it!) but getting the difference and keeping the item might be a much harder sell. But after two night of staying up F5-ing I am not a pretty sight so hopefully they'll just want me out of the shop!

Tesco direct is showing as in-stock.
Can it not be ordered at Tesco at full price now and price difference refunded when the price drops?
Or return/not collect it, if they charge full price.

Well I rang staples and basically you just have to wait for an email saying yes or no! I think that's what she meant anyway, she was totally frazzled and had been taking calls since 7am!
