Playing things from a flash drive?

I have a revision CD (similar to driving test theory) that I need to play on a netbook with no drive.

I have copied all the files from the disc to a flash drive but when I attempt to use it, the message "insert CD into drive" comes up.

What am I doing wrong?

TIA.

Are you installing from the USB drive or just running a program from the USB drive?

Possibly the easiest way is to use a "Virtual CD drive" program

    I'd recommend http://www.magiciso.com/
    I use it a lot.

Install it on to your main machine AND your netbook
On your main machine insert the CD and open magicISO
You can use the tutorial on the website above to create an "ISO image" from the cd.
Put the ISO onto the flash drive and plug it in to the netbook.
Then select the ISO and mount using MagicISO.

Then you just use it as a normal CD-rom
    Laters
