Sentinel Extra is a policy underwritten by Ageas Insurance Ltd and offered through brokers.
Other than this, I can't help any further. The broker I worked for didn't offer this product.
Out of interest, which broker have you got the quote through?0 -

If as glider3560 says, Sentinel Extra is underwritten by Ageas Insurance Ltd then there you should no cause for concern. Ageas own R.I.A.S. (the over 50s insurer) & they also provide all types of general insurance (over 50s insurance) for Age UK.0 -
A Google search for Ageas comes up with their website. They were formerly known as Fortis. It appears that they were awarded the title ''General Insurer Of The Year 2011 - British Insurance Awards''.0

When i used to work for Rbs/Natwest, Sentinel Insurance used to get sold to clients with credit cards.
It was a few years back when i worked there so i cant remember what it was for exactly but i think it was just general insurance to cover maybe household items? Dont quote me on that though as it has been a while.I am a Mortgage AdviserYou should note that this site doesn't check my status as a mortgage adviser, so you need to take my word for it. Yes, i read that part. Am also aware they don't offer cashback through the many sites out there.glider3560 wrote: »I am unable to get their website to show a policy document or Key Facts. I certainly wouldn't buy any policy without reading the policy summary as a minimum!
I didn't look for those, so a good point.
