chargeback question

my dd bought goods online using her visa debit card ,after a lot of problems the retailer has told me to do a charge back to get her money back !
i realize i contact the bank Monday but what happens after that ?

Lots of hits if you google 'visa debit card chargeback process' or 'visa debit card chargeback procedure'.

However, be prepared for lots of misinformation, obfuscation, etc!

I take it she's still within the 120 day cut-off point? (from when she first became aware of the problem)

Depends on what the problems are, the retailer can still reject a chargeback, you're not guaranteed to get your money back. Why won't they refund ?

its retro action figures and they have messed around from day one,no idea as to why they wont refund apart from they are untrustworthy IMHO. the acc showed the order was cancelled and refunded 28/07 but that hasn't happened .Ive complained and now they have blocked access to the acc history,they told me to do a charge back during a call today.
i will ring consumer direct Monday and get them involved. i wish id seen these reviews before the purchase .http://www.reviewcentre.com/reviews168812.html
