World Cup/Euro championship type versions of the game usually drop in price quicker. I thought it was a decent game that as well!

is it from 12 at night you can buy it or do you have to wait till the morning as my local asda and tescos is 24 hours

As above said it's on sale from midnight, some stores like asda/tesco are obviously 24hr then places like game & hmv are opening at midnight BUT be careful of the midnight opening's as last year there was a big kick off in a few asda's because people turned up at midnight to buy FIFA 11 for £25 BUT in tiny writing on the advertisements in the papers it said that it would be FULL price UNTIL 8am, Asda HAD to buckle and sell at £25 because of how many people had turned up but can see them not being as lenient this year so check with your local store 1st.

Has anyone bought a paper yet and got an update on prices? I havent had chance yet and Asda have taken FIFA 12 for PS3 & XBOX360 OFF their website so suppose they are in process of changing price, Wii, 3DS & PS2 & windows vista/xp games are on there.
  • sainsburys are offering game for £28.00 if u spend £30.00 in store ok if u want shopping it works if u buy other games as well as long as u spend £30

Same question from me, went to grab the free Metro from the bus, but there was none :(

Asda have them back up as £34 ish for the 360.

Last year we had it cheaper at Asda than Tesco. Even if we had gone to tesco and used OH staff card, it would have still be cheaper at asda :/
    Thanks to all posters :A

All in all, quite rubbish deals on FIFA 12 this year.

I will be waiting until the price drops or I just won't buy it this year. I suspect sales will be down considerably and the £25 deal will hopefully appear.
  • Well I just bought the Sun, which I find quite trusty when it comes to advertisements for FIFA, anyway here is what each store is offering in the paper:

    Morrison's: £25 IF you buy a top 8 chart game! (otherwise £38.99)

Tesco: £25 IF you buy a top 20 chart game! (otherwise £38.99)

Sainsbury's: £28.99 IF you spend £30 on shopping (otherwise £38.99)

Game: IF you buy at MIDNIGHT you can get 800 Microsoft points when you purchase FIFA 12 (PS3 you get £5 PSN Wallet Top-up) extra loyalty points & 20% extra trade in when trading in for FIFA 12 (Note: has to be at midnight not tomorrow during the day)

Asda: NOTHING. yep you read right nothing I have looked through the paper 3 times now and the only thing is a small advertisement saying you can buy xbox360 WITH FIFA 12 for £190. I have a funny feeling that Asda have something up their sleeve, bit funny how they dont advertise it in paper, they had FIFA 12 up for £35 online but took it down this morning NOW it has gone up to £38.99, I have a feeling it'll go back down again and they are trying to throw other competitiors off the scent especially cinsidering my mate just said to me he asked about pre-ordering yesterday and was told that he cant pre-order now, he then asked how much it will be on release day and was told they didnt know and that even if they did know they wouldnt be allowed to say!! So have staff been told to keep quiet or something?

Thought I'd update people on what I have seen today

Thanks that's really helpful. If people have vouchers for Tesco or Morrison from last weekends papers, that will help bring the price down too. I have a £5 Daily Mail Tesco one and also a till spit for £4 off £30 spend in Tesco, so i guess that's where I'm heading - not sure what other "chart game" I will buy though....
