Waves on Screen

Options
Hi,
A week ago, I had rebooted my Pc. Ever since then, whenever I scroll the pages up or down I get a cascading "waves" effect. I guess something needs tweaking somewhere. I'd be most grateful if someone can help me sort this problem?

if its a crt monitor it sounds like it needs degaused, basicly electrical interferance affects the magnets that fire the cathode ray at the screen and produce interferance patterns. check if you have any unshileded electronics like speakers near the monitor.

if its a tft then i would download a linux live cd, boot it and rule out any hardware fault, knoppix is good

I had this problem once and had to download and install the latest drivers for my graphics card. Fixed it a treat :)
